Limited Edition Orange Almond Blossom Honey
This honey represents something truly special.
During SeeAg's Farm Day, on April 11th, we wanted to demonstrate real honey harvesting for our visitors—but after two incredibly difficult honey seasons, there simply wasn’t much honey to harvest. To make it possible, we and some generous members of our bee club pooled what little capped honey we had.
In total, we gathered just 12 supers, yielding only half a barrel of honey.
The result is this rare, small-batch blend: honey from local Thousand Oaks hives, honey gathered during almond pollination, and honey from the Ojai orange blossoms.
We’re calling it Orange Almond Blossom—a unique honey that beautifully bridges two floral worlds.
Flavor Profile:
Bright citrus blossom notes lead with a delicate sweetness, followed by warm floral complexity and a subtle nutty finish from the almond bloom. Smooth and rich, this honey offers a clean sweetness with a gentle almond bite on the finish.
Pairs Well With:
Perfect drizzled over Greek yogurt, toast with butter, oatmeal, aged cheeses, roasted nuts, or vanilla ice cream. It also shines in tea, charcuterie boards, or as a finishing drizzle over baked goods.
Because of the extremely limited harvest, this honey is available only while supplies last.
